Washroom Policy

This program is held outdoors on school grounds. Washroom access is not provided during sessions. Participants are asked to use the washroom before arriving. In case of an emergency, parents or guardians may be contacted to assist.

Supervision & Safety Policy

All sessions are supervised by program staff at all times. Activities are age-appropriate, non-contact, and focused on skill development and structured play.
No body checking, no slap shots, and no aggressive behaviour are permitted. Safety is our top priority.

Equipment Policy

Hockey sticks are provided for participants. Program sticks are 40 inches and may not be the ideal size for every child, as stick length depends on height.

If the provided stick is too short or too long for your child, parents or guardians are asked to supply a hockey stick that properly fits their child. A properly sized stick should reach approximately nose height when the child is standing.

Participants should wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor play. All drills and games use tennis balls only. No pucks are used during the program.

Weather Policy

Sessions will run rain or shine unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., extreme rain, lightning, or hazardous surfaces). If a session must be cancelled for safety reasons, families will be notified by email as soon as possible. Cancelled sessions may be rescheduled when possible but are not guaranteed.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring children arrive on time and are picked up promptly at the end of each session. Program staff are not able to provide supervision outside of scheduled session times.

Behaviour Policy

Participants are expected to treat others with respect and follow instructions at all times. Bullying, unsafe behaviour, or repeated disruptions may result in removal from the session. Continued issues may lead to dismissal from the program without refund.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are for the full Spring term. Refunds are not provided for missed sessions due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or weather-related cancellations. Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Medical & Emergency Policy

Parents or guardians are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies during registration. In the event of an emergency, staff will contact the listed emergency contact immediately.
